Los Billboard Music Awards, liderados por The Weeknd en las nominaciones, se realizarán este domingo

De manera híbrida se han realizado las ceremonias de premiación, tanto del cine como la música, en los últimos meses. Por las alfombras rojas ha pasado un número reducido de estrellas. Este domingo se desarrollará una nueva edición de los Billboard Music Awards, que tendrá un panorama similar.

El canadiense The Weeknd lidera la lista de nominados de los Billboard Music Awards, con 16 candidaturas. Es seguido por el estadounidense DaBaby, con 11; y la estadounidense Gabby Barrett, con 9.

Daddy Yankee lidera el Latin Airplay del Billboard con su tema ‘Problema’

Los latinos también están representados en estos premios, siendo Bad Bunny el más nominado, con siete.

Los finalistas de los Billboard Music Awards® se basan en interacciones clave con los fanáticos de la música, así como en las ventas de álbumes y canciones digitales, transmisión de radio, transmisión, giras y participación social, rastreadas por Billboard y sus socios de datos, incluidos Nielsen Music y Next Big Sound , según Billboard.

Los premios se basan en un periodo de informe de doce meses. Desde 1940, las listas de Billboard han sido la guía de referencia para clasificar la popularidad de artistas, canciones y álbumes, y son la medida definitiva del éxito en la música , agrega.

BTS, Demi Lovato, Sia, Post Malone, Alicia Keys, entre otros artistas, ofrecerán shows musicales.

Nick Jonas será el conductor del espectáculo. Se realizará en el Microsoft Theater de Los Ángeles.

Los Billboard Music Awards serán transmitidos por TNT, en español, y en TNT Series, en inglés, a partir de las 19:00, hora de Ecuador. Además en streaming por DirecTV GO.
