At the same time, the Legal Medicine Police arrived at the Military Hospital to conduct an evaluation of all three patients who were stable and recovering adequately according to Rommel Reyna, the Hospital director.
The date of medical discharge is uncertain, added Reyna.
Galo Quintero, international delegate for the Human Rights Comittee arrived at the hospital yesterday morning and informed the three young women as to their rights. One of the possibilities extended was political ayslum in a third country.
Meanwhile Security Minister Gustavo Larrea mentioned that there is evidence as to the possibility that an undetermined number of casualties correspond to Mexican citizens connected to the Universidad Autónoma from México (UNAM). Doubts have grown after knowledge of Morett's ties to leftist groups at UNAM.
According to Larrea, students and professors from the University were present at the camp to do investigative work about the FARC.
However the UNAM Philosophy Faculty denied having sent any "institutional mission" to that country to conduct an investigation about the FARC.
